Champagne Thursday

"Hey, Paula. Good news. It's Champagne Thursday."
  "It's Friday."
"Uh, yeah, Thursday came twice this week."

 It's become a bit of favorite around these parts.  Whether in disappointment or in triumph, some golden and bright bubbly warms the belly and always makes for the most amiable times!  

We had some seriously hearty laughs over champagne last night with our fave friends, Steve and Katie, and way indulged in some Belgian Brownies.  Sigh.  Did I mention we watched Brave!  A proper twenty-something gathering is bound to include the genius of Disney and Pixar now and again. 

So, will you be rounding up your friends for a champagne inspired evening?  No need to be sticklers either, in the spirit of Champagne Thursday, have it any night you like, even twice in one week. 

On a side note... how perfectly cute and strange is Zooey Deschanel in Failure to Launch?
